Institute Description

Vadaskert is Hungary’s leading paediatric mental health care institution, with the highest inpatient capacity and one of the highest outpatient capacities in the country, providing psychiatric care for over 1500 paediatric inpatients and over 4500 paediatric outpatients per year. As such, Vadaskert has a staff relatively large for institutions of this kind, and has been able to successfully participate in EU-funded research projects previously, including SEYLE, SUPREME, ADDUCE and EMTICS. Thanks partly to these Europe-wide collaborations and to the curiosity and motivation of the staff, the number of peer-reviewed publications co-authored by Vanderskert staff is the highest in the country on the topic of child psychiatry.
